"For the homeless but can't answer the phone"

I've been homeless for 7 month now (not because of any wrong doing of my own) I was under the impression that I could have one of these properties only to have heard absolutely nothing in the last 5-6 weeks, I've been ringing the office everyday as well as a personal phone number for one of the members that work there only to hear nothing at all,, I'm a single mother with a 4 year old and asking for help was the hardest thing I've ever done,, I was genuinely scared for my sons safety as well as my own and I generated some comfort of the fact that I was able to give him the safety and stability he deserved and needed,,, only to be dumped like a bag of rubbish,, how can you say you make a difference to the community when this is the sad reality that faces everyone that finally mounts up the croute to ask for help! Beyond me..
