A review of St Thomas's Church by Susan Mason written on Wednesday 23rd of November 2016

It is very many years since I attended services at St Thomas's Church in Petersfield Road Pennywell.

I first attended Sunday School in the little black hut at the bottom of Petersfield Road and progressed to St Thomas's Church. This was in the 1950s under the auspices of Mr Kent the Vicar.

At that time we lived at number 39 Petersfield Road, and although life was tough in those post-war years, it was a lovely neighbourhood with St Thomas's Church and its vicar acting as a pivotal role in the area.

I really miss all my old friends..
